Membre de la fédération française ornithologique depuis 2000. Fondateur et administrateur du premier francophone sur les calopsittes et autres psittacidés. Il fut l'un des premiers éleveurs au Maroc à avoir réussi l'élevage des perroquets (gris du gabon, ara bleu , ara chloroptère, ara macao et amazone à front bleu ) et le premier à avoir introduit et travaillé plusieurs mutations rares en calopsittes , en perruches à croupion rouge et en omnicolores.
